An opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker Early Childhood Educator within the Nursery Classes at Dunblane and Newton Primary Schools. Please note that this post will be split between both nurseries, and travel between the two locations will be the responsibility of the successful candidate. This is a temporary post until August 2027 for 18 hours per week, the hours will be initially spread over five mornings but this may be subject to change. Candidates should hold or be willing to work towards a relevant ELC qualification, at minimum of SCQF level 6 to ensure SSSC registration requirements are met. This role provides a career pathway in ELC where interested SWECE’s can, in the future, explore further training to work towards a level 7 qualification.
Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic and committed individuals with experience of working with children of different ages and abilities, including those with specific support or medical needs. You will work within enthusiastic and hard-working teams to create stimulating learning opportunities that deliver a high quality, child-centred education.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
If you’ve got the right skills for the job we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.
