This is a role for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, natural commercial instinct, and an unwavering determination to succeed.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMarket Insight & Opportunity Identification\n\n * Conduct market and customer research to identify emerging opportunities and shape effective territory/account plans.\n\n * Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to maintain up‑to‑date market intelligence.\n\nLead Generation & Pipeline Growth\n\n * Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new business prospects.\n\n * Generate leads across all BD channels, including outbound outreach, referrals, targeted campaigns, industry events, and networking.\n\nClient Engagement & Relationship Management\n\n * Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including C‑Suite decision-makers.\n\n * Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to maximise brand visibility.\n\n * Facilitate commercial discussions, develop high-quality proposals, and deliver compelling presentations.\n\nSales Performance & Revenue Growth\n\n * Develop and execute strategies that drive revenue, market expansion, and account growth.\n\n * Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.\n\n * Negotiate and close commercial agreements that meet both client needs and company profitability goals.\n\nProposal Development & Solution Design\n\n * Lead client discovery sessions to understand requirements and articulate how company solutions meet their needs.\n\n * Work closely with internal teams and subject matter experts to craft tailored, high-impact proposals.\n\nReporting, Analysis & Continuous Improvement\n\n * Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve commercial outcomes.\n\n * Track performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.\n\nSkills, Experience & Attributes\n\n * Demonstrable success in a proactive business development or new-business sales role both on the phone and face to face.\n\n * Strong understanding of the industry landscape, client challenges, and competitive environment.\n\n * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.\n\n * Highly personable, confident, and comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.\n\n * Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability.\n\n * Self-motivated with a results-driven, resilient, “go-getter” mindset.\n\n * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\n\n * Experience using CRM systems and managing structured pipelines (preferred)
